The firm consists of eight employees who work on projects in both Wenatchee and Seattle. Five of these are licensed architects.

PKJB Architectural Group, P.S., a professional partnership formed in the State of Washington in 1991 by Gregg Percich, Robert Kroese, and R. Terry Johnson. All are licensed architects with 75 years of collective experience in the architectural field throught the United States. In 2000, PKJB incorporated as a S Corporation. PKJB carries a $1 million Errors and Omissions policy with a General Liability policy of $2 million per occurrence with a $6 million aggregate.

PKJB approaches each project as a team consisting of one of the partners, a project manager and the required staff to complete the project. The team remains intact throughout the project. The Partner and project manager attend meetings with the owners to develop the program and then the schematic design. At this time, the structural, mechanical and electrical engineers, as required, along with the contractor, when applicable, convene to develop the building systems and budget that are best suited for the overall scope of the project.

Our Philosophy

PKJB Architectural Group believes that the right physical environment is a major key to personal and professional comfort and success. We at PKJB Architectural Group want the projects we design to contribute to this environment functionally, aesthetically and emotionally, not only for the individual client, but the community as a whole. We want our clients, and the community, to enjoy and to have a sense of pride in their surroundings. Since our clients come from a diverse range of personal and professional backgrounds, PKJB Architectural Group focuses on a close client to architect relationship from project inception to completion. We also encourage clients to be actively involved in their architectural plans and to communicate directly with the consultants and contractors on the project team. The tangible results from these relationships create buildable, attractive and lasting projects that function as intended.
